India's billionaires outstrip US counterparts
The combined fortunes of India's 100 richest have reached $276bn, well outstripping their Chinese peers' $170bn, according to data compiled by Forbes magazine. Though the net worth of the 100 richest Americans has fallen by 18 per cent, they still amounted to the wealthiest national group with $775bn. Ref. Source 4
