Role Playing Games, sometimes called, "RPG" for short, as it refers to our sites has to do with online imaginative gaming. Basically, you create a character with certain attributes, we will take the barbaric character of Conan as an example. After "creating" Conan (via a point distribution system) you take him through a world set up by the Game Master (storyteller of the game). The main interaction is Play by Post, but we have other types as well such as MMORPG. You write out what your character does and someone called a "GM" tells you the result.Most of the RPGs here are for advanced / intermediate RPGers (we do welcome beginners if you are serious about RPGing) that like Play by Post interaction, but not all the RPGs are Play by Post, some are: MMOPRG, turn based and so forth. The World Of Medieval centers around a time of kings, warriors, and magic on a planet similar to the dark ages.
