This
list will cover in part how the British Isles received their present
day mission borders.
Included in each mission entry is the number, in parenthesis,
of the 'original' mission from which it was created, and,
in the 'See also' entry, the numbers of the 'break-offs'
missions that were created from divisions of this mission.
Also included are the numbers of missions that this mission may
have been transferred to when it was discontinued, and the number
the mission was assigned when it was re-opened. You will also
find links to those mission sites here. Click on the British

There is a lot of controversy if I could use that word about
the Saviour actually coming to the British Isles and later His
Apostles. Within this site are links where you can research and
find out for yourself.

Dan
Jones
For
a comprehensive look at just who was Dan Jones we suggest a look
at: Kerry
A. Shirts' Research.
Here is an excerpt:
"Dan Jones was a small, sea-loving Welshman who first became acquainted
with the Prophet when the Saints were in Nauvoo. He and the Prophet
Joseph became co-owners of the Mississippi steamboat, Maid of
Iowa."
