I listen to Glenn Beck frequently. He is not a reporter. He has never been a reporter. He does present news, usually news that is not reported by "journalists." However, he reports it to entertain, educate, and enlighten.
I agree with him concerning "social justice" and all the other "liberal" theology trash. He does NOT equate social justice to communism. Social justice, communism, socialism, liberal theology, and all the rest of it are all part of an anti-Christ philosophy. It took up a name in the early 1900's in the United States, calling itself "Progressivism." This philosophy places human life, and liberty, at low value compared to strict control of society.
Glenn is trying to educate everyone about this pernicious political movement and philosophy. He uses parody, outrageous statements, and all sorts of stunts to make his point. He wants people to think about it.
So, when he urges people to leave their "social justice" and "economic justice" churches, he is pointing out that those philosophies are opposite the teachings of Jesus Christ, especially as understood within the teachings of the Restoration. It is interesting, to me, that THE major "social justice" church out there is the Community of Christ, which was, at one time, the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The more they moved towards "social justice", the further they moved away from the Book of Mormon and the teachings of Joseph Smith. Eventually they got to the point where they no longer wanted to even be associated with the Restoration, as Joseph Smith taught personal responsibility and social justice teaches institutional responsibility.
I completely agree with Glenn in another way. When the LDS church begins to teach "social justice", then I will have nothing else to do with it. At that point, it will have embraced the philosophy of Cain, the religion of Satan.
