Character Description
Faevalor favors his human heritage in size and he is tanned like his father but with a hint of his Elven heritage. He stands 5 ft 9 inches tall and weighs 170 lbs.He has the dark hair of his Wood Elf parent and his light brown eyes sing of the forests.

Fay wears studded leather armor to protect himself and yet allow him freedom of movement. Under than armor is a fine set of clothes from Winter Winds, one of the finest and most exclusive clothes shops in all of the Savage Frontier. A gift from his father before he left off to find his fortune.
Character History
Faevalor wants to know why his mother abandoned him. Was he such an embarrassment that she just left him with the first family that would have him? Thanks to the gods that his father, Baron Kaishan Sundorlel, heard of a Half Elf child left with pub owner in a town he was serving as a mercenary back before he inherited the Barony from his father. He understood immediately why the Elf Maiden he fell in love with left. He hastened back to claim his son, be he bastard or no.

Fay understands his birth is noble, but his circumstances make it easy for him to understand the common folk too. After all is said and done, blood be blood. His father always told him it was the duty of the highborn to protect those of lesser station, and Fay believes this to the core of his being. He was well loved at home, his older sisters and brothers always loved him well and to his father he was always treated the same as his siblings. But he knows he is different and he will prove himself to his family.

Fay is not quick to make friends, but once made he would do anything for his friends. Fay remembers the stories his father told him of his time as a soldier right after his wife died. His father said that a form of lovesick madness overwhelmed him when she died, and he left his children with his father and younger sister and took up the mantle of a soldier, fighting for pay. He said that in those days he formed friendships that have lasted through the years, but those friendships were earned through shared scars and rations, even when food was scarce.

Fay also listened about his mother, but in this father said little. Just that she was as beautiful as the night sky and it was her love that drew him from his madness. One day she was gone and his father knew it then time to go home and reclaim the title that awaited him. It was by blind luck that his father hadn't gone far because of Orc raids and heard of a Half Elf babe that favored his beautiful Elven Lady and he himself. To this is why he learned music, as his father would tell a tale Fay would play the pan flute and put the words to music. Eventually getting so good a local bard heard him and helped secure Fay entry into the College of Swords.

And lucky is what his father called him as often as not. Fay's brothers called him Fay for all the days he can remember. Much older than he, still they waited on him when they played war or went hunting and from them he learned much. His sisters called him Fay as well, all except Shanaria, who was closest to him in age. She would call him Faevalor the Crazed because of the antics he would pull to try to prove himself. Perhaps the fact Fay never killed himself while jumping off the roof of the keep or sliding down ropes from the battlements proves the luck his father says he has.

And such is what legends are made of...
