Comments: When I go with my brothers trick or treating I don't even think about anything religious but after reading all of this you guys made me think about this more. I don't think it has the same significance anymore though at least not here in America.

I was reading through the first part of this thread by various members and it seems to focus on if Halloween fit their religious standards but really we are celebrating a specific nature themed religion that has roots way beyond any of the modern religious institutions of today.
