Here are some tips for the speed test:

- stretch your fingers as far as you can on the mouse
- put some pressure on the mouse before you actually see the change
- anticipate the coming change and be ready to click
- don't look at your previous scores if you can.

For the piloting test:

-don't go near the red circles if you can. That is where the red dragonthings come out of.
-if you press both the up arrow and one of the side ones, you can then fire diagonally which will result in bumpy shots which can sometimes work more effectively.
- In the first level, don't try to collect all of the green packs - you can go out after two or three of those.

One thing I couldn't figure out was how to pick up the blue EMPs. Anyone?

Is that the little box with an E on it?. The first time, I thought it meant 'Exit' lol. I tried to pick it up in any way possible but I could not.... So I don't know, maybe we need to fulfill some requirements first in order to pick those up?. Hmmmm....

Thanks for the tips, I tried ALL of those but I still very tempted in seeing my score… I may have to put a paper or something on my screen to avoid the temptation.*smile*.

Now wait a minute! I thought the qualification time for the speed was 0.190! I got 0.177! And I was so happy then I went to back to see if I could play the game again, it seems like I can! (How come?) so. Does it mean I have NO qualify? I want to cry!.

Update: How could I be so stupid??? I forgot to press the 'send' button!

I am totally in depressed mood now sad.gif

Update 2: When I was ready to give up..just a minute ago, I went again and I tried to qualify. I played once and qualified with a score of 0.185! Yeah..close. I did not get the 0.177 of before but still work! I am so happy!

It Is Possible!

On my first try with the pilot test I scored 9300 and I am no Arcade buff, so it is achievable. With the reaction game my best score was 0.170. This is just in case anyone thinks it is too hard.

Are you sure you're no arcade buff? shocked.gif' />

Well, uh, I was so close to passing the pilot test. I had 8000 and one energy left to pick. And with the completion of a level, you get about 1,000. Well, that encourages me, that it is possible.

Yes, I finally qualified for the piloting test (11,000) , and I have some info you might want...

When you reach to level four (and eight, and twelve, etc.), fire at the right upper corner of the screen a couple of times, and a secret passage will open to a bonus level, which gives you both a lot of points, and an opportunity to find another life for your ship.
