New relapse prediction tool reduces cost of rheumatoid arthritis treatment. The combined use of two measurements to accurately predict the risk of relapse in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) allows successful dose reduction (Tapering) of their disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs), research shows. This in turn increases the cost-effectiveness of each DMARD treatment. Source 3m.
