Immigration Greece

Here is the strange thing about this story, Greece's unemployment rate is almost 25%. Yes, you read that right, almost one in four Greeks are out of work… and they are still bringing in migrants to work their fields. Are they too good to work their own fields for money, instead living off of unemployment? My father told me stories of his father and how he'd do whatever he could to find work until he saved up enough to buy a diner, and then saved more for a second diner. My grandfather came from the same Greece that seems to be too good for the work they import these poor Pakistani immigrants to do, and then shunt off to horrible conditions on the outskirts of town so they don't have to associate with them or acknowledge that these people exist. Where are we going and what have we become in the west when this happens.
