One thing I do agree police need to be outfitted with are cameras with mics so everyone can both see and hear what they're doing. Thing is an independent agency needs to be monitoring it and not just the cops back at the officer's precinct.

Police videos and cameras have come a long ways. But still many of the issues facing police today is a society that feels they can do and say anything to a police officer as long as they are not breaking a law or being violent towards them. This constant barrage of insults and other inflammatory abuse towards a police officer or other officials can cause a person to finally reach a breaking point. Just like a teen in high school who is getting bullied.

The nice thing is many officers have found a outlet and can deal with much better than others can. Having cameras will help and with the supervisors of the police monitoring the cameras to make sure the officer is handling the stresses of his job can help them find those who need to be taken off the street for a bit to get rid of built up stress.

Its important to understand that cops are human. If they approach a suspect and get nothing but dumb responses and non-compliance then they will react. If you investigate these cases I bet 99.1% of them are smart ass men who don't want to comply with the requests of an officer.

Being a cop showed me just how racist and violent the police are. There's only one fix.:

The problem is that cops aren't held accountable for their actions, and they know it. These officers violate rights with impunity. They know there's a different criminal justice system for civilians and police. Ref. Source 6

Police in the US Kill Citizens at Over 70 Times the Rate of Other First-World Nations:

In case you've been under a rock lately, it is becoming quite clear that police in the US can and will kill people, even unarmed people, even on video, and do so with impunity. Ref. Source 6

Maybe other parts of the first world don't have as many civilians, crazies, criminals and gangsters walking around armed like we do.

Police officers are held accountable for each and every action they take. Their superiors will question why they did this or that and to see if they were justified. If they were not justified they will be held accountable and maybe even fired.

If you feel that the police officers want to and enjoy killing people then maybe you have a very bad view of officers. They do not want to kill people and some officers after a shooting leave the force because they really feel bad about taking someone's life and feel they can no longer preform their job effectively.

In almost every case where citizens claimed police brutality in FIRST began with a lack of compliance to basic instructions. Not that I am saying the police were right to go to the extreme but I am saying that the police initially gave a simple instruction and the person chose not to follow.
