The Sacramento Kings have been in the NBA Playoffs every year since head coach Rick Adelman joined the team in 1999. Their hope is to keep that streak alive. Currently in 8th place, and with 2 teams in Utah and New Orleans breathing down their necks, they have their work cut out for them. The loss of key players like Chris Webber and Peja Stojakovic certainly contributed to their problems, but Adelman, being the coach that he is, has steadied the ship, and seems poised to keep his playoff streak going.
Mike Bibby and Brad Miller have done well to maintain their high standard of play and with the addition of Ron Artest, the defense has also improved. Strong supporting roles from Bonzi Wells and Shareef Abdur-Rahim has also helped keep the Kings in contention in the West. They will have their work cut out for them should they qualify for the playoffs with either Dallas or San Antonio awaiting.

Artest has quickly become the modern day Dennis Rodman aka the "Bad boy" of the NBA. I don't think Sacramento has a prayer in the first round vs San Antonio, but you better believe the fans will be talking about this suspension long after the playoffs are over.

I still believe the Spurs will advance but this makes the series, if anything, a bit more interesting.
