ISIS claims it beheaded American journalist following U.S. Military action in Iraq
U.S. Authorities believe the victim of a gruesome videotaped execution by the militant group known as ISIS is an American freelance journalist who was kidnapped nearly two years ago in Syria, a federal law enforcement official said Tuesday. The official, who is not authorized to speak publicly, said the victim of the beheading is believed to be James Wright Foley. Investigators were still examining the video, but "Nothing appears to contradict" The identification. Ref. USAToday
