There are always those that will use religion, wealth or power to get what they want. I do believe that some may not need to do all of that. If people are willing to share a husband then why not allow multiple partners? With there being more women than men in the world it can make some sense. While it may not be for all those that wish should have some right to it.

Yes, there was a time that men marrying multiple women made sense. Men had a much harder life and much lower life expectancy. Although men still have a slightly lower life expectancy it isn't like it once way. I agree that this sounds like a man using religion to get what he wants.
