The House approved a 10-year extension of an existing federal law banning guns that can go undetected by metal detectors and X-ray machines. The Senate is expected to take up the bill when senators return to Washington next week. This is likely to be the only gun measure to pass before the 2014 elections.

These weapons are the most dangerous for me because of 3D printing the files to create weapons can be downloaded and printed anywhere thus bypassing any checks that would normally be made.

One does not need a 3d printer to make a fire arm. One can go to any hardware store and get everything they need to build a quick and easy firearm. People fear people getting guns and killing a bunch of others when it is not a gun issue it a people issue. Plastic guns like this are cheap and easy to make just like going to a hardware store for the items too.
