Why are successful people hopeless at love?

IT'S almost a proverb. The attractive, smart, successful woman who is a legend at work but unlucky in love. Should it be the other way round? Ref. Source 8

That seems like a stereotype and I don't know that its true at all. The reason people are successful is because they are focused on what they want to accomplish, maybe this focus means they aren't easily distracted not that they cannot be romantic.
