Aeric, I am also sorry to see Onwen go, for the mix he brought to Daishain's game. I do want to thank you for maintaining the game you are running. I understand if its pace is a bit slow. Thanks again!

Sorry to hear such words, but they are ones of which I can understand. I hope to see you about the forums from time to time or in the future, but until then may the light reveal your path and the dawn be a new day.

I'm sorry I missed this post last week! I'm sorry to hear that Aeric, but bright things wait for you in the future. Don't hold back on our account. RPGs are massive commitment on both sides, game master and player, and life takes precedence of course.

Finally some answers for my oldest son (He's ten); we spend a good ten hours at the Colorado Children's Hospital in Highlands Ranch where my son underwent a variety of testing. We discovered that he does not have autism as we initially suspected but rather he has been diagnosed with Intellectual Disability. At least now we can finally move forward and identify some supports to put in place for him in school and as he gets older. It's not easy to hear that diagnosis but it's good to finally have some answers about my son's behavior and his difficulty in school.
I am still struggling to keep up and maintain any motivation to participate in my play-by-post games but hopefully it will pass.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and yours. I understand your struggles. We are here, do what you can when you can and if you can. If I can be so bold as to write for others, I'm sure we all understand.
Aeric, I am glad you are handling this so well. I have twins but you are dealing with a whole different set of pressures that I can only begin to imagine. If you need to vent or anything, we will be here.

"Intellectual Disability" is very broad. If I might ask, what made you suspect he was on the spectrum. I have three boys on the spectrum, all at various levels from ages 9 to 17 so I am quite versed in the area although not 'expert'.
