Legally Carrying Guns To School

School staffers allowed to carry guns at work

A school district near Sacramento is one of at least three that allow administrators and staff to bring guns to campus. The Folsom Cordova Unified School District has allowed some staff to bring guns to their jobs since 2010, but revealed the practice last month. Ref. Source 8e.

Why bring weapons to school? I understand about safety and all but wouldn't that be a risk in case it gets stolen or something? Bringing guns to school would just endanger the students if it goes to the wrong hands.

I can't see arming teachers as being a good idea at anytime. They will just get themselves in trouble and its psychologically troubling for young minds to know that a teacher is armed.
