Took the boys to see this. They enjoyed it, lots of action and things to captivate the mind of the child. The CGI was very good and gave a good perspective of child versus giant. The comedy comes more to the end. There are some grim parts if your child is easily scared.

I loved it. The scene in the Queens dinner hall was the best I was laughing so much. The effects were really good.

I liked it. A couple of parts like the scene at the tree was a bit long and boring but overall it was a nice story for the kids. My cousins enjoyed it.

The BFG

When I saw BFG I thought it was Liam Neeson at first. It was a nice film but not outstanding. There were parts where people in the cinema were laughing but I didn't find it funny at all. Having said that, the movie teaches about stereotyping and accepting those who might look different than we are which of course, it is very important in the world we live.
