No Man's Sky was just released (6 August 2016) and although I have not played it yet the underlying theme is exploration using a 3D shooter / flyer interface with evolving planets and creatures. There are puzzles and strategy to it but there seems to be little interaction between yourself and those that you meet. If you've played it please put your review:

I would love to play this game. What it makes it truly fascinating to me is the fact that it seems like it is endless because there are millions of planets to explore and each one can evolve etc.
