Comments: The murder of William Marquis of Morvant is such a shame. It, however, goes to show that very little has changed on this island since 2012 including decades before that date. The personal security of civilians in this country has gone to pot .This man had already survived another gun attack in 2012 in downtown Port of Spain. Search on the net for Newsday 14 OCT 2012 for the story. Whilst politicians here wrangle among themselves, each seeking personal political glory in whether to re-instate the death penalty, our innocent people are being slaughtered daily by habitual killers roaming this land without any real hindrance or deterrent.
