QUOTE ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) -- The 18-year-old Pelzer mother accused of killing her 6-month-old daughter says she accidentally stepped on the infant as she was chasing after her son. Authorities say Danielle Bowen's daughter died from being stepped on Tuesday. They say the baby also was choked and slapped. Bowen has been charged with homicide by child abuse. She was denied bond at a hearing Thursday where she tearfully said she did not intend to hurt her baby. Source 8j

Infant On Step Accidentally
For that to happen you have to be a really clumsy person. I can't see that happening but even if it were true she is still accountable for her actions because the child is supposed to be in her protection and not the cause of her death.
