Highest Level Your Character Reached

What's the highest level ever your character reached? I don't want combined totals because of multi-classes I want the highest in a single class but you can tell me the multi-class too. Plus I want to know if you think you got there because your just play so good or because your Dungeon Master is easy.

Reached Character Level Highest

Depends on other context. Highest a character of mine has reached in a continuous campaign that started at level one would be L12.

Highest period would be L24, but that was an epic campaign that began at L20. Highest non epic would be L20, the longer of those two started at L14.

Perhaps the better marker would be this, over the years, I have only lost three characters to permadeath, one of those was by choice, and one to natural old age..

As for the easy Dungeon Master vs skilled play question. A mix of the twain generally speaking. Most of the Dungeon Masters I work with have been somewhat on the generous side, but I tend to play characters to their strengths enough that one way or another they're tough to kill.
