Men: Rough, Shaggy, Clean Cut Or Shaven?

This is a question for all the gents but the ladies can also pitch in their opinions too. As a man do you tend to keep yourself (The general you) rough, shaggy, clean cut or shaven? Is your answer the same as what it was 5 years ago? 10 years ago? If it is or is not what made you change: life, maturity, job, someone told you to?

Shaven Cut Clean Shaggy Rough Men

I personally prefer to keep my hair clean cut and easy to manage, and with this I do avoid any sort of facial hair simply because I find it uncomfortable.

More importantly, for my hair, I also tend to keep the cut simple. Sometimes a buzz cut, but normally short on the sides and back while trimmed on the top. Easy to wash, easy to keep tidy, and seems to work well for me.

I would never go shaven, as I feel I have too big a forehead for such as even a buzz feels off, but I have wondered what I might look with shaggy hair. Not sure what is meant by rough, but if it means grown out and unmanaged then that don't seem to be a style I would enjoy. I like keeping myself tidy, at least with my hair.
