Ferga the Fisherman

With a 5 feet and 10 inches tall body, Ferga is a skinny man with a plain appearance. He has black hair with big blue eyes. Ferga has light brown skin with no remarkable features at all. Conforming with his ordinary appearance, Ferga does not have any high aspirations and has a rather carefree disposition. He lived his life as it is.

Ferga spent his childhood as a farmer's son. Because his father had gone to serve the country in a war, his family relies on himself. He did everything to keep his family fed, such as hunting small animal and fishing. Fishing was his favorite, as he likes peace and tranquility. He is also quite proficient with daggers and spears, as he used to hunt animals for its skin and meat.

But, amidst his unremarkable character, he values his freedom highly and by no means unintelligent. He does not want to be like his father, who was forced to participate in a war in a distant country. Ferga knows that in order to protect his freedom, he needs to establish his own foothold in this world. So that no one will intrude his freedom, be it a mere thief, or a king.

Fisherman Ferga

Advisor Description

Snow was falling that night. I was deep in the woods to collect firewood to warm my house when I heard a girl crying. Who is still wondering in the woods this late?, I thought. I was still a young boy back then, my curiosity told me to search for that girl. Which I did. Then, it was there, a beautiful girl with blue eyes, blonde hair, and skin as white as snow. That was the first time I met Celine.

The girl was cold and hungry, so I took her home. When she arrived at my home, she told me and my mom her story. How she was a princess from faraway kingdom. How her kingdom was destroyed by a calamity. How she and her servant escaped and journeyed thousands of miles. How her servant died while protecting her from bandits. None of us believed in her of course, as the matter was too inconceivable.

But, I was wrong. From the time I spent with her, I began to believe her story. She can read, can write, speaks politely, and knows all the manners I can imagine of a princess. I always admire her, she is a cheerful girl even with her past tragedy. Although she is annoying at times, but she is really kind. She taught me how to read and told me stories which made me curious about the outside world. Before I knew it, she has become irreplaceable part of my life. Now, 3 years has gone by and she will help me face the challenges of the world.

Reflections on your mother

My mother was the most important thing to my life. She had always been kind and loving mother. She was my shelter, who protected me from any harm. She was my teacher, who taught me all things necessary for my well-being. With also a loving father, my family is most certainly a happy one. But, everything changed when my father was forced to serve the military. My father had no experience in combat, which meant his death was almost a certainty. My mother cried that day. Afterwards, my loving mother was gone. She refused to eat nor talk, drowned in grief. She became thinner and sickly. Then, she died out of stress. This made a major impact for me. In front of her grave, I vowed that I won't be like my father whose fate is in others hand, I will grasp my fate with my own hand.

Fisherman Ferga

The Beauty of Lady Fluke

Green eyes as lush as the forest
Yet as sharp as an eagle
Blonde hair as captivating as the sun
Yet as wild as a lion
Pale skin as white as snow
Yet by no means weak
Heart as big as a mountain
Will as strong as an iron
Mind as wise as the sages
Its her, Lady Fluke.

Reflections on your father

My father was a farmer. He was kind-hearted, caring, honest anything you could imagine from a good natured person. I always admired my father. Unfortunately, he is weak. Too weak to defy the order to serve the army, too weak to keep his family whole, too weak to oppose the authority. What is so good about a good natured person if he cannot protect his own freedom? Thats why my father has always been a reminder for me. A reminder to get stronger.

I should say I'm doing good today, Celine. I have got work at the tavern to satisfy their need of fish. Then, I used the money I got to train the most basic, yet essential art of survival. Yes, its running. Wait, dont laugh at me yet. This world is not merciful. This world doesn't care whether you are weak or strong, anyone has the chance to meet a powerful enemy. What can they do if they cannot beat their enemies? Of course they run. Yes, its shameful to run away from battle. But, at the end of the day the one who will laugh last is those who survive. Bravery? Please don't be mistaken, its stupidity.

I have made a very big mistake. Today, when I was strolling in the town I heard that the librarian needed help. Since I was bored at that time, I decided to go there and help him. After I inquired about it from him, I learned that there is a giant spider in the cellar and he wanted to get rid of it. I immediately accepted the request, Just how big a spider can be?, I thought. With full of confidence, even scorn at the librarian, I headed down the stairs with a lantern. Then, I met it. Say Celine, have you ever been so scared by a spider before? Because what I saw today was an ultimate terror. That spider was HUGE. I ran straight after I saw that creature. Unfortunately, it outran me. Its sharp feet pierced straight to my heart. I was finished.

I thought it was over. There is no hope left. Then The Reaper appeared before me, he offered another chance of life. Without even considering possible consequences, I hurriedly said yes. It worked. I cheated death. But I felt there is something missing with me. Maybe that was the price for cheating death. I couldnt care less about that, what mattered is I am alive.

There are 2 mistakes I made Celine. First, lack of knowledge of the enemy. Second, my running skill that was my forte, is useless if I cannot take the first hit. So, there are still many works I need to do in the future. Collecting information and strengthening the body. I won't make the same mistake twice. Because, I am Ferga.
