Got a long way to go, not least because the hologram still requires a suspended medium. Not sure I'll be happy about sticking a 500kg water tank in my living room, regardless of how flashy the imagery is.

This reminds me of that chess match in the original Star Wars. Something like that would be very interesting to watch. Characters could be exactly equipped according to what they should have rather than by the limitations of an artist's lead or plastic.
