Culture Korea South

Korean people are outgoing, hard working (industrious), hard drinking, humorous people with a strong sense of nationalism. They do maintain many old traditions such as the Korean dress, Korean New Years Celebrations, kimichi and burial/death ceremonies. However, the also are rich in arts that are practiced worldwide. One writer called the Koreans the Irish of Asia. I am Irish, married a Korean woman and couldnt agree more.

It is one of the few places in Asia where you will have strangers come up to you and just want to practice their english skills.

The east side is where the majority of the industial areas are located and the west side is where the abundance of agricultural land is found. S. Korea is also the most internet savy country in the world.
