Why are they making a big deal about Jack Warner's new found beliefs in Hinduism? If it brings him peace then is it really anyone's business? I can't believe this is making major news headlines. It's not like he said he is joining a jihadist group.

What do you all think of the idea of Warner to legalize the illegality of PH taxis? For me, it's crazy. Why they don't let this people get a taxi badge like the rest, what is the problem with that?

One thing is for sure... The media LOVES Jack Warner. Compare how many times you see and hear the name Jack Warner versus the other Ministers or even PM?

It is sad that he only got less than1% to take care of the Transport Division because that building and the facilities the officers down there have to work under is very archaic.

The British folks are furious with Jack Warner. It is alleged that he said he would vote for them to host the World Cup and he didn't. Do you all remember that from 2008 we got several known football players here to help the youth? Even Beckham and his crew came...but of course, it wasn't out of their kindness of their heart, they hoped it will help Warner to decide to vote for England. Even Prince William followed Warned and "begged" and Warner, like a good Trini seems like he promised but didn't deliver.

Jack Warner is on his way to a FIFA disciplinary meeting over allegations of bribery for votes for the upcoming FIFA executive elections. Many are calling for him to step down from FIFA if he expects to take up a serious role in politics here. What do you think will be the outcome of his meeting abroad?

Well, Jack Warner has been suspended. I wonder how all this will affect his position on our government?

international QUOTE
FIFA suspended Jack Warner and Mohamed bin Hammam today amid allegations the two executive committee members bribed voters in the presidential election campaign. The ethics committee also cleared FIFA president Sepp Blatter of ignoring the alleged bribes.

The decisions pave the way for Blatter to be re-elected unopposed to a fourth term Wednesday.

Football's governing body said bin Hammam, a Qatari who leads Asia's football confederation, and Warner, a FIFA vice president from Trinidad and Tobago, will now face a full FIFA inquiry. If found guilty, they could be expelled from FIFA and banned from all football activity. Bin Hammam announced his withdrawal as a candidate earlier Sunday..https://www.trinidadexpress.com/news/FIFA-suspends-bin-Hammam-Warner-122801189.html

I just read that Jack Warner has resigned from FIFA so whatever investigations were taking place they're now closed.

international QUOTE
Fifa vice-president Jack Warner has resigned, world football's governing body has confirmed.

"As a consequence of Mr Warner's resignation, all ethics committee procedures against him have been closed and the presumption of innocence is maintained," said a Fifa statement.

Warner was suspended pending an investigation into bribery allegations.

He and fellow Fifa member Mohamed Bin Hammam are alleged to have paid bribes of £600,000 to Caribbean associations.

Chuck Blazer, general secretary of the Concacaf federation Warner had been president of, alleged that violations of Fifa's code of ethics occurred during a meeting organised by Bin Hammam and Warner in May. Source 4
