Rio erupts in celebration with 2016 Olympics

RIO DE JANEIRO - Nearly 50,000 people cheered in celebration when Rio de Janeiro was announced as host of the 2016 Olympics, jumping and shouting in a Carnival-like party on Copacabana beach. Rush Limbaugh is saying, and I agree with him, that Obama's interference is exactly WHY Chicago lost out. Obama thinks that the whole world loves him, so he and his wife made a huge media circus out of their attempts to sway the Olympic committee. So, by stealing the limelight from the committee, the committee was biased against them, and dumped Chicago in the first vote.

Personally, I think it is great that he was rejected.

I have to agree with that NightHawk. The President does not carry the clout that he thinks he has.

Rather off topic, but...
Then you have the fact that our first lady can not even attend a formal function with sleeve and wears pants. I think she needs a new wardrobe person who understand that some functions she attends needs something like a dress or a suit with sleeves.

Added to that the Zika virus and you can have a civil war there in the middle of the Olympics. I hope the international body knows what they are doing because it doesn't look good for Brazil.
