The problem isn't us killing the nut. We can do that. The problem is all the people that will die, South Korean, North Korean, and American for sure and possibly Japanese too, while we get the job done. Evil megalomaniacs in charge of countries, even small ones, rarely go easily.

Yes, and if we attack we virtually guarantee that all three captives he has now will die. Add to that a goodly portion of the population of every large city from Seoul north to the DMZ and you come with tens of thousands dead on the first day… and that's without him launching nukes, chem, and bio weapons. It's an ugly scenario over there.
