Chinese police say they have rescued 2,000 children from human traffickers, and hope to reunite them with their families.

China currently has a law in place which only allows parents to have one child. If these rescued children are not firstborn children, then an expensive fine will given and some parents may deny ownership of the children in order to avoid the fine so it is unlikely that all 2,000 children will be reunited with their families.
