Anti-Muslim hate crimes up in L.A.
An L.A. County analysis of hate crime reports shows a spike in attacks against Muslims, Arab-Americans and people perceived to be Muslim during the last two months of 2015. There were 11 hate crimes in the last two months of 2015 compare with just one a year earlier. Ref. Source 3c.

Police investigate pork left at Muslim's door
UC Davis police are investigating an incident involving pork left on the doorstep of an apartment of a Muslim resident as a hate crime. Pork is a prohibited food for people of the Muslim faith. There have been a series of hate crimes against Muslims in the area. Ref. Source 7s.
