Another day of the pigs? I doubt that anyone would attack Cuba really, I believe everyone against the government in Cuba will just wait til Castro hits the bucket and then 'try' something after, but maybe if Castro had a rock fist then his brother might have a steel fist?

I found this interesting piece on Fidel Castro's rise to power. While I always knew the US government had a role in it, I was surprised to see that the New York Times was such a blind and staunch supporter of Fidel in their description and introduction of him to the US public. It also shows how clever this guy actually was in his climb to the top. Either way you look at it, Fidel somehow feels a pretty big debt to this journalist by immortalizing him with a statue.
