New leftist idea: give fat kids to government

There's a new idea being talked about in medical circles regarding obesity and children. Top experts are now suggesting a new idea to curb childhood obesity - the solution? Blame Whos Obesity Child

I believe obesity has become worse since we've been not allowed our children to be children and run about outside. Media has a lot to answer for. They show every child being snatched, so we don't let little johnny outside, just in case he's taken. So he sits inside, in front of the idiot box, stuffing his face with low fat (but high sugar) snacks and we ask ourselves, why is this child fat? When I was a kid, I would run about and eat Macca's as a 'treat'. There are too many 'treats' these days! I think it come back to the parents. They can blame the fast-food chains, if that makes them sleep at night, but where do the children get their eating habits from? Their parents! Ronald McDonald grab their pudgy little hands and make them eat a hamburger.

Again, they need to see the example of this and the results. So… let's start with parents. wink.gif.
