Engineers say they have successfully raised the wreck of the Costa Concordia cruise ship to an upright position after a 19-hour operation. Thirty-two people died when the Concordia hit a reef and half-submerged on its side on Jan. 13, 2012. Ref. USAToday

Human remains have been found on the Costa Concordia, Italy's civil protection agency said today. The discovery of the remains comes a week after engineers righted the ship.

The cruise ship was carrying 4,200 people when it ran aground and capsized off Italy's Giglio Island in 2012. The bodies of 30 victims were recovered, but two people, Russel Rebello of India and Maria Grazia Trecarichi of Sicily, are missing.

Divers will try to recover the remains today, the agency says. Ref. CNN
