In the purest sense ghosts are real but they are not detected by us just we cannot detect atoms around us but it doesn't mean they aren't there.

Ghosts Thoughts

For what others call ghosts I see as one of three possibilities:
* The spirit of those that have departed yet allowed to temporarily return for some purpose or to leave a message for another. Generally though, on death they all leave this world and move on.
* Those spirits not allowed a body, those with malicious intent and trickery who both hate us for our bodies yet seek to have such for their own, of which possessions can take place.
* Emotional impressions or snapshots of which some powerful or traumatic event took place of which some may be sensitive enough to sense in some form or another.
