Since the visit of President Jagdeo to Tehran, all sorts of unfounded accusations, baseless speculations and superfluous insinuations, most expressing anti-Iran hysteria, have appeared in the Guyanese media condemning the visit. Some interpreted the presence of Jagdeo in Iran as an anti-American move.
