Games - Everyone

Name that Hymn

If you have someone who can play the piano really well and a group that has a real appreciation or needs to have a real appreciation for the hymns then you can play this game. Start off by having your group near the piano and the person playing the piano ready with the introduction of several hymns. You start by having the pianist play the first line of one hymn and then asking the group to name that hymn. If they get it right then the pianist tries another hymn with the intro piece, etc. If they get it wrong they have to sing that hymn. You can go up to a figure of ten or divide the group into teams. You can make many variations to this activity and its a good way to gain a love for the hymns of the Church.

I Dare You !

Play a game like guess that scripture or something else where if the person gets it right they get a point, but if wrong they get to do one of the dares. Click here to see the dare questions

Religion News: Glenn Beck
international QUOTE (Nighthawk @ 14-Mar 10, 12:13 AM)
"Social Justice" is a codeword for attempts to implement socialism and progressivism.

That's the problem I have with Beck's statement and those who think similar you know what am I saying?. A codework? You arent serious, are you? No codeworks here. Social Justice AND socialism are two different things, the problem arises when people like Beck try hard to put them as one. I am sick of conspiracy theories. He needs to stay out of religion and mind politics. His mouth is too big and his thinking process illogical.
