Do you know what this region has? The answer is oil and lots of it. We are trying to secure the world's oil production. The Sudan is selling it to China right now (Our enemy). We don't care about the people in Darfur. It is just an excuse to start a war in the region to secure resources. And the last thing we want to do right now is tick China off any more.
