Character History
Brathark was born the second son of a minor noble in Sparta thus he is a spartiate. His father was a mason who had made a great name for himself and from the age of ten he was taught how to be a mason too. He also spent time training in the Spartan army as he was not the heir to his fathers lands or titles. He trained with the battle axe since he was 12. He looked to some of the elder soldiers who sold him on the beliefs of a Paladin and thus he started to work on being the best he could be and trained every waking hour he was not learning his family trade. He was part of King Pausanias' 300 and trained with them. As he grew in rank he found that he was good with field dressing injured soldiers. While this was good for his bodies development it was not so good for his social actions. This would cause him trouble in the future.
His friends helped him as he worked hard to be a great soldier. His family helped him become a good mason and he was soon passed to the rank of fellow craft. He was close to being a master mason when trouble hit. He has always been a good looking young man and one day he was caught behind the mill with the favorite niece of king Agesilaus II. Needless to say the king was none to happy and he wanted Bratharks head. Being a member of the 300 Brathark was sent away with a delegation down to the meeting that Pausanias has called.
