I haven't been to the temple yet, but it doesn't make sense that the Tree of Life, which is suppose to give eternal life should be bitter when eternal life is the sweetest gift we can receive. Like wise the Tree of Knowledge brought death into the world, which is very bitter for the fact it seperates us from our bodies.

This is what we have from scripture discribing what Eve thought of the fruit, which I believe comes from her believing in satan's lie:
Moses 4:12

12 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it became pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make her wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and also gave unto her husband with her, and he did eat. |
I did not get chance to say anything, but I had to move this here because of the references to the temple and 'clues' given. I would rather nothing about the inner workings of the temple be for public reading, especially because non-LDS and antis regularly browse our Boards.
Rather off topic, but... Interesting to note. We get over 3,000 unique visitors per day on this Community. Surprising isn't it? Most of them like to read our content as one would CNN, etc. |
