Horse Meat - Page 2

I find that the issue of eating horse meat is simply a social issue. We like horses, they are pretty, so we don't want to eat them. Either we are meat eaters or we aren't. I am, so I would have no problems eating horse meat, or even raising them to be slaughtered like bulls, pigs, and chickens. I think its rather silly and hypocritical to think its ok to eat one animal and not another. At the same time people get upset about eating horses in the US or Germany, we think its silly for them not to eat cows in India since they are starving. But cows are sacred in India, much more important than horses, and they think we are crazy to eat cows here. Its a social issue that would have to be over come, but we are carnivores, its what we do, we eat animals lower on the food chain, and that includes horses.
