Sell It!

If you were to sell your vehicle right now, how much do you think you would get for it and why? Would giving it a new paint or engine job help in the sale?

I have a '98 Honda Civic 4DR LX model, and it is in fair condition, because there is some minor hail damage on the hood. I checked the Kelly Blue Book value of it and I would get around $5000 US if I sold it privately, which isn't bad. Other than the hail damage which is not very noticeable, and a small dent in the driver side door which was there when I bought it, the body is in good condition. Mechanically speaking, there is very little wear and tear. I have new tires, and the inside is also very clean. Fixing the hail damage and dent might add another $500 to the selling price.
