Fatal 'rat bite fever' case goes to trial
The father of a boy who died from a bacterial infection he got from a rat bought at a Petco store says the retailer knew of the “hidden danger” and failed to tell customers. The company says it does warn consumers and that "There are risks with owning any pet.” Ref. Source 6p.
