Chinese Spies Everywhere?
As I go through various world news reports I cannot help but wonder if there is any truth to the Chinese sending spies to other countries to check on the actions of their citizens that now live abroad. Here is one such story that I have seen in other world newspapers:

At least five Chinese nationals who live in Australia have defected over similar claims recently. One of the defectees was a high ranking diplomat in the Chinese Consulate. He said he was instructed to spy on Falun Gong members. He also said Australia had over 1,000 Chinese spies or agents operating. Of course it is worth noting they are all seeking assylum on the back of these claims.
The Australian Government has placed itself in a huge mess by dragging their applications through the media. John Howard has come under significant heat because the government has been so careful not to offend China, our biggest trade partner, while showing little concern for the lives of the defectees.
