We have been discussing various forms of RPGs within this Community for a long time, but the posts seemed to be scattered all about, so this Board was born to get them all together.

What does RPG mean?

RPG is short for 'Role-Playing Game'. Sometimes we will use 'RPGs' for the plural form of the word. When we refer to 'RPGer Status' we are talking about the ability of a member to play our in-house text based RPGs.

Which RPGs are Reviewed

We review anything and everything RPG related here save for our own in-house games because they already have their own review threads within their respective Boards. Now keep in mind this:

Originally RPGs were known to be paper based games formed by a TSR production called, 'Dungeons & Dragons' & 'Gamma World'. However, nowadays people understand RPGs to mean digital games like 'Diablo' or 'World of Warcraft'. Although they are all RPGs we must make a distinction in these threads, so we ask that when you start a new thread you first use the words that indicate what kind of RPG you are talking about. Here is an example:

(PC) - represents you are talking about the computer version
(Paper) - represents actual dice and paper based game
(Online) - represents that is played via the net
(Text) - represents it is Forum Based

So, if you want to talk about the computer game called, 'Diablo' you would start your thread like this: Diablo (PC)

Before starting a new thread please ensure that you search this Board FIRST to ensure we are not already discussing that RPG. No thread here is considered 'old'.
