KN,

I'm sorry to hear that. I had such a better experience. I guess that just goes to show you can find any kind of people anywhere. Perhaps my experience was better because I was in the Army and mostly went around in uniform. Texas is very friendly to the military from my experience.

People in Texas love the military. Texas even has a Chris Kyle day. I can't think of a more pro-military state than Texas. Marcus Luttrell is from here also and is a considered a Texas hero.

Would the two of you be surprised one of the worse experiences I had with Texas people was when I was in full Military Police uniform. I was almost shot *smile*.

Rather off topic, but...
Kyrroeth, You said here when you wrote your reply. Aren't you in the Rocky Mountain State? Oh, excuse me, I meant the Centennial State. Your heritage is showing through! wink.gif

Texas always treated my right, now I have to wonder if it was me or the uniform. Oh well, I darn well may find out one day if I choose Texas to go to. In truth, there is a long list of places though.

Once a Texan always a Texan. I'm new to Colorado so I have much stronger ties to the Lone Star state. It all depends upon where you go if you are out of uniform.

KN, I can believe it. Were you being mean to people? wink.gif.

I am always mean to people I am not a nice guy. Especially when in the military many thought that I was a hard core ass hole. I thought of myself as a god and I treated a lot of people like I was I learned that if I needed something done I ordered it done.

I was a nice guy if you did not get on my wrong side. I can still be that A hole a lot if I need to be *smile*.

And there it is… that's the guy that made me cry when he treated Ildrahil badly. And now he has me… ME in his clutches in another game. Another tear just went down my cheeks.

Yes, I would be surprised by that KN. I am amazed how different our encounters were. Can I ask, where were you in Texas? My experiences have been in far south Texas, where I was helping do some counter drug stuff, so they loved me. The Central Texas Hill Country, close but not always on Fort Hood, where we did a lot of training for a special mission I was on. This included going to Austin on occasion… which I loved. Damn if 6th Street is a hot and happening place. Rock, it's there. Jazz, oh yeah. R&B, you, lots of it. And a dance scent that'll blow your non-dancing mind. And the people there were great to me. And the other place was San Antonio. Again, the people were great and the River Walk was a great place to spend some time *wink*.

I spent all my time in San Antonio and Austin when I was in the military. When I was in Texas other times it was in eastern Texas just off interstate 20 east of Dallas and just west of the Arkansas line. The last time was in western Texas in the panhandle along Interstate 40.
