Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe ousted from ruling party, could be impeached. The ZANU-PF party said Robert Mugabe must resign as Zimbabwe's president by noon Monday or impeachment proceedings will begin. The 93-year-old's allies have been turning against him since the country's military intervened this week to prevent Zimbabwe's longtime leader from installing his wife, Grace, 52, as the African nation's next president. Mugabe has been in power for nearly four decades. Ref. USAToday.

I hope Zimbabwe makes a good recovery and doesn't up like other African nations in an endless civil war.

Title: Zimbabwe politics and corruption

Comments: The jubilant celebrations in Zimbabwe were relayed to many countries throughout the world which showed many of its citizens having a really good song and dance in respect of the resignation of Robert Mugabe. They, however, continued in the same mode by electing Mugabe's long-standing right-hand man as their new president. This, in my opinion, display their primitiveness, lack off proper education and logical reasoning. Their new president has served for decades have been partaking in all the corrupt acts with his pal Mugabe without raising a finger to stem his flow of the theft of most of the country's wealth and aided in the deprivation of most of the ordinary citizens of Zimbabwe. The citizens have shown quite clearly that they are lacking in foresight and the only hope they have of surviving further decades of more poverty and government corruption is to hope that the new president put his ambition for power before personal financial gain. The citizens may find that the promise by their new president to eliminate corruption is just an offer of lip service. How many time since our independence have politicians here made similar promises and yet today we are still in the corruption mode. Once embedded in the methods and techniques whilst serving in the corridors of power, corruption is unlikely to fade away without making the white collar criminals pay severely by punishing them with the deserved retribution.
