Do you favor Grisaille Art over traditional colours or even black and white?

Grisaille Art

Grisaille - A style of monochromatic painting in shades of gray, used especially for the representation of relief sculpture, or to simulate one. Achromatic painting. May refer to a gray underpainting, laid for subsequent color glazing. Also, a kind of paint which can be fired onto glass.

I am quite a fan of this kind of art mostly because it can generally fit within any kind of classic or temporary decor. Not suitable for modern in my opinion, but it gives a relaxing feeling due to the soft shades and pastels.
