Arrested after biting snake in unprovoked attack

These are the sort of things people do when they're drunk. I hope he pays for all the medical expenses for the snake's surgery.

The man has been arrested in Sacramento, California after biting someone's pet python.
54-year-old David Senk was arrested by police after police found him unconscious, with blood on his face.
It later emerged that he started an "Unprovoked attack" Against the four-foot snake after the pet owner allowed him to play with it.
"I feel horrible as hell about it," Senk later said. "When I get drunk, I get crazy. I do not know. I've been an alcoholic for a long time," He also said Senk was arrested on suspicion of unlawfully maiming or mauling a reptile, and was charged with a felony cruelty to an animal. Source 4

So that's his excuse? "I am an alcoholic?" It doesn't matter to me, he should pay for what he did to this poor animal, he had no right whatsoever to treat the poor snake and injure her like he did.
