What a classic line from an actual presidential candidate.
McCarthy had a very strong personality, and he often said things that were harsh and criticizing, but not necessarily wrong. It is surprising to me that someone as out spoken could have such a successful career in politics. He was fully against big government and spoke against it often, yet he was a senator and a house representative. He never had a successful run at the presidency though.
